Freddie Edwards, Founder & Managing Director
Freddie founded Dragonfly Projects in 2022, bringing with him over 10 years of experience in the construction sector. He specialises in commercial office fit-outs and residential projects, applying a hands-on, passionate approach to every scheme.
Determined to make every client instruction a success, Freddie goes above and beyond to drive the business forward. He considers the opportunity to work with diverse client organisations, professional teams, and construction crews a genuine privilege.
Outside of work, Freddie enjoys tackling his own home renovations and spending quality time with his family and two boys. A keen competitor, he participates in a wide range of sports - including sailing, padel, tennis, golf, running, and cycling - and is always ready to get stuck into a new challenge.

Director
Sam Wilton
With a background in project management across residential accommodation and commercial developments, Sam brings extensive experience in delivering complex schemes with a strong client focus.
Sam joined Dragonfly Projects due to the team’s commitment to managing every stage of the development lifecycle with quality and care. He is dedicated to contributing to the company's growing portfolio, working alongside clients to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.
Outside of work, Sam is passionate about all things sport, ranging from tennis and padel to significant endurance challenges. He has recently completed an Ironman and a UTMB ultra run - with another challenge already in the diary. Above all, he enjoys spending time outdoors, preferably in the sunshine.
Associate Director
Louisa Whittaker
Louisa has been working as a Senior Project and Programme Manager in the Commercial Office Sector for the last 10+ years, with a full understanding of project processes and governance from RIBA Stage 0 to Stage 7. She brings the unique experience of concurrently leading project delivery from conception to completion whilst also sitting in a Programme Management Office (PMO) overseeing clients' global portfolios.
Louisa's enthusiasm and personable approach translate across her work and is passionate about building strong relationships with the client and project teams. She is able to integrate well within a client organisation to understand its people, processes, and culture, and has excellent communication skills and a proven track record of working with stakeholders at all levels.
Outside of work, Louisa enjoys travelling the world, experiencing different cultures, as well as being an ardent musical theatre fan and an avid reader.
Senior Project Manager
Charlie Smith
Charlie brings over eight years of experience in the construction sector, with a specific focus on commercial and residential projects. He recently joined Dragonfly Projects following a successful tenure at a larger practice, driven by the desire to contribute to an up-and-coming organisation with fresh opportunities.
Charlie possesses a strong client focus and thrives in high-pressure environments, making him well-suited to the demands of complex project delivery. He is eager to embrace this new professional chapter and the challenges it brings.
Outside of work, Charlie is an avid outdoor enthusiast. He enjoys running, playing football, hiking, and golf - essentially any activity that gets him out into the open air.
Director
Andrew Matthewman
Andrew brings over 35 years of heavyweight development experience, having led major mixed-use, residential and commercial projects across the UK, Europe, the US and the Middle East.
A Chartered Surveyor with a celebrated career, he has held senior roles delivering landmark schemes including Battersea Power Station, Royal Albert Dock, Nova Victoria and large-scale international developments.
Known for his strategic mindset and detail-driven delivery, Andrew has worked client-side at the highest level, guiding multi-million-sq-ft projects through acquisition, planning, design, funding and construction.
Now supporting Dragonfly’s continued growth, he brings unmatched experience, calm leadership and a collaborative team spirit.
Brand & Marketing
Hannah Stacpoole
Hannah works with the team on a freelance basis, bringing experience across a broad range of clients - from tech apps and e-commerce brands to interior designers, charities and academics -spanning brand, marketing and creative strategy. Prior to that, she ran her own womenswear brand for five years.
With a passion for storytelling and building authentic brand narratives, Hannah is focused on bringing Dragonfly's story to life and shining a light on the incredible projects the business is working on, one step at a time.
Outside of work, Hannah can be found either getting stuck into renovating her home, at a spin class or watching the latest release at the Everyman.
